INTERVIEW – CapeTalk: The South African state wants to buy its own oil tanker and a fleet of other ships

South Africa’s Department of Transport wants to establish the country’s first national vessel entity aimed at curbing South Africa’s reliance on foreign governments and companies for essential imports and exports.
