Tammy focuses on people experience and operational excellence. As the partner in charge of Talent, Business Development and Knowledge she works closely with Bowmans’ Management Board in executing Bowman’s Business Development and Talent strategies across the Firm’s six jurisdictions and nine offices in Africa, making sure our client-centric focus is at the centre of everything we do. She is an elected member of our Remuneration Committee helping us drive rewards that spotlight our commitment to excellence, high performance, diversity, optimism and engagement.

Her true passion is people and unlocking the opportunities for personal and professional development that exist across our African footprint – in combination with our clients and our broader global network relationships to deliver on our people promise.

She is constantly striving to drive improvement and innovation in the legal sector, working across our offices to introduce design thinking and process improvement methodologies. The technology-enabled solutions Tammy and her teams deliver are aimed at driving efficiencies that enhance the value we bring to our clients on a day-to-day basis and the working experience of our people.

Tammy joined Bowmans in 1998 as an articled clerk and became an M&A partner in 2005. She is an admitted attorney, notary and conveyancer.
