Overview
Sushika is an Associate within the Banking and Finance practice at Bowmans. Since joining, Sushika has been mainly advising local and international banks, Investment Funds, major corporates, both local and international and high net worth individuals with a special focus on cross border financing.
Prior to joining Bowmans, Sushika was an associate within the banking practice of a local law firm where she was advising on cross border financing transactions mainly involving local and foreign financial institutions and major corporates.

- Drafting and issuing legal opinions on loan financing matters.
- Drafting and review of numerous agreements (shareholders agreement, lease agreement, contracts of employment and constitutions.
- Claimants and defendants in a range of disputes such as compensation for personal injury, landlord/tenant matters, and actions in respect of any rights arising out of the ownership of property etc.
- Employers and employees in disciplinary hearings and before the Industrial Court which include unfair dismissal and employees’ right at work.
