Precious has a unique blend of corporate/commercial and disputes experience, providing her with a well-rounded perspective of the legal market and industry dynamics. Her corporate experience includes advising on complex energy projects, corporate and project financing transactions, tax advisory matters, debt restructurings, mergers and acquisitions and data protection compliance.
In the disputes arena, Precious has acted for clients across a wide range of disputes, including domestic and international arbitrations, employment-related litigation, high‑value commercial claims, capital markets and shareholder disputes, as well as sensitive corporate investigations. She has been actively involved at every stage of the dispute lifecycle; formulating defense strategies, responding to claims, participating in mediations, managing pre‑trial discovery and trial proceedings, conducting corporate investigation interviews and negotiating favourable settlements.

- Green Tiger Markets Pte, in relation to the regulation of energy OTC derivatives.
- China-Africa Development Fund Co., Ltd, a China Government Guidance Fund solely funded by China Development Bank, in relation to the revitalisation of the Tanzania Zambia railway line following a USD 1.4 billion agreement signed between the governments of Zambia, Tanzania, and China.
- CrossBoundary Energy, a renewable energy investment company, in relation to captive power and wheeling projects in Zambia.
- Development Finance Institute Canada, Canada’s development finance institution, in relation to tax related queries.
- Independent Power Producer in Africa, in relation to the regulatory and contractual aspects pertaining to Private Energy Sales in Zambia.
- Vitol Group, an energy and commodities company, in relation to the tax considerations of its intended transportation and acquisition of copper through and from Zambia.
- Mopani Copper Mines PLC, a subsidiary of ZCCM Investment Holdings PLC, in an arbitration seated in London under the auspices of the International Chamber of Commerce in which Group R Ltd is claiming about USD 7.2 million arising from a construction dispute.
- Absa Bank Zambia Plc, a part of Absa Group Ltd an African financial services, in the matter Hedges Shimanza & 15 Others v. Barclays Bank Zambia Limited where former employees have sued Barclays for damages for wrongful termination and increment of salaries for certain class of employees.
- National Pension Scheme Authority, a mandatory, government defined contribution retirement savings scheme, against Stalwart Investments Ltd, a construction and manufacturing company, in an arbitration dispute seated in Lusaka under the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law Arbitration Rules in which Stalwart is claiming damages of over ZMW 46 million following NAPSA’s termination of the ZMW 77.5 million Mufulira Mixed-Use Development construction contract, where Stalwart Investments Ltd was engaged as the Contractor.
- JSI John Snow, Inc., a global public health consulting organization, in relation to employment law advice and representation.
- Barloworld Logistics Pty Ltd, a part of Barloworld Group Ltd, an industrial processing, distribution, and services company in the matter Frederick Mwale and 51 Others v Barlowold Logistics Pty Ltd where former employees have sued Barloworld for entitlements accrued while in its employ.
