- Acts for Ericsson Sub-Saharan Africa in a contractual claim instituted against it by a foreign natural person. The claim is in excess of USD 19 million.
- Acts for Ericsson South Africa in a contractual claim against local entity for the sum of R44 million.
- Represents the Postbank SOC Limited in High Court proceedings in which the Postbank seeks to review and set side of various agreements it concluded with a third party.
- Is part of the legal team representing the Nkomati Joint Venture in litigation proceedings against the South African Revenue Service in which Nkomati claims refund of tax rebates exceeding R100 million.
- Currently acts for the Independent Electoral Commission (“the IEC”) and has over the past 10 years been assisting the IEC during NPE and local government elections in disputes concerning the election processes. These attendances include the following:
- Handling of objections and complaints from various Political Parties and Independent Candidates on behalf of the Independent Electoral Commission (the IEC) during the 2016, 2019 and 2020 National and Provincial Elections.
- Conducting litigation on behalf of the IEC in matters before the Electoral Court and other Courts pertaining to violations of the Electoral Commission Act, the Electoral Act and Electoral Code, the Municipal Electoral Act and Regulations, the Municipal Structures Act and the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa.
- Advising the IEC on various matters regarding the interpretation and application of the Electoral Commission Act, the Electoral Act and Electoral Code, the Municipal Electoral Act and Regulations, the Municipal Structures Act and the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa.
