Elizabeth Karua is a partner at Stamford Corporate Services LLP, a subsidiary of Coulson Harney (Bowmans Kenya) in Nairobi. Elizabeth has over ten years’ experience as a practicing Certified Public Secretary and a Corporate Governance consultant. She is well versed with the provisions and application of the Companies Act, 2015 and other applicable corporate laws and statutory regulation of Kenya. Her experience ranges from serving as Company Secretary for various entities in different sectors, providing support in the management of Board and General meetings, setting up of legal entities. She has vast experience in compliance matters of the entities in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act, restructuring and re-organisation of a company’s share capital and directorships, maintaining statutory books of companies and deregistration/winding up of legal entities.

Her other areas of specialization include provision of corporate governance services such as governance assessments, drafting of governance policies and procedures, governance tools, Board inductions and evaluations and trainings.

Elizabeth is a knowledgeable Company Secretary and Accredited Governance auditor.
