Claire Franklyn is a consultant in our Johannesburg office.

Her expertise covers the South African regulatory framework in respect of telecommunications and broadcasting. Claire has been involved in advising government and regulatory bodies, including the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA), on regulatory instruments and policy positions. She has also assisted in a number of commercial telecommunication transactions. Claire experience extends to consumer protection, data protection and compliance, lawful interception, and issues relating to the classification and distribution of films and publications.
