Chantay Jaftha is a senior associate in the Litigation Practice of our Johannesburg office and a member of the Dispute Resolution Department.  She has advised various large corporations and state-owned entities in complex contractual disputes.

Chantay has experience in Magistrate Court and High Court commercial litigation, as well as public law litigation, class actions, mediations and arbitrations. She has advised on auditor liability claims, insurance-related disputes, disputes arising out of sale of shares agreements and general contractual disputes.  She is experienced in drafting legal opinions, pleadings, non-disclosure agreements, settlement agreements, mediation agreements and dispute resolution clauses to name a few.
