- Advising the founding family in relation to their exit in Nodor Group, the global market leader in premium darts, dartboards and accessories, to Inflexion.
- Advising the Amethis Private Equity Fund and the founder of Merec Industries, Mozambique’s largest flour milling company in relation to their exit to UAE based Invictus Investment Company Plc.
- Advising UK based Actis Private Equity Fund on their exit from Java, a leading restaurant business in East Africa.
- Advising Amethis Fund and the family owners of one of Kenya’s leading supermarket chain, Naivas Supermarkets, on the full exit by Amethis and partial exit by the family owners to the Mauritius conglomerate, IBL Group. The transaction won the East Africa Private Equity Deal of the Year in 2022 by DealMakers Africa.
- Advising AfricInvest Fund on their investment in one of the region’s leading retailer and distributor of automotive products and services in Africa, AutoXpress Group, and acquisition from UK based Actis Fund. The transaction was shortlisted for East Africa Private Equity Deal of the Year in 2022 by DealMakers Africa.
- Advising Swiss-based The Holcim Group in relation to the takeover of Bamburi Plc, an iconic business brand in Kenya and a publicly listed company on the Nairobi Securities Exchange with a deal value of USD 180 million.
- Advising The Braeburn Group on their full acquisition of the Hillcrest International Group of Schools from Dubai based GEMS global educational group.
- Advising South Africa based Phatisa Fund on their investment in the Manipal Group, an Indian conglomerate and a leading manufacturer and trader of self-adhesive printed labels and printed laminates and derivative products in Kenya
- Advising Dune Packaging in relation to the investment by the Ascent Capital private equity firm in Dune Packaging. The transaction won the ‘Mid-Cap Deal of the Year” in 2024 by the East African Private Equity and Venture Capital Association.
