I was very sorry to see that you lost your senior partner to COVID. Our thoughts are with you all.

Robert has been continuing to have good relationship with our firm’s African Practice Team members.  Indeed, we agree that Robert was a prominent leader and we also miss him very much. With regard to his dedication to tackle COVID-19, we recall that Robert sent us an email notifying the Bowmans’ initiatives (contingency measures) to fight against COVID-19 as early as in March 2020.

We express our deep condolences for the loss of your Chairman and Senior Partner, Robert Legh. What a loss for his family and the profession, at such a young age. This is a tragic time. We are thinking of you all.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Robert Legh, due to Covid-19 complications, at such a young age. His loss is huge, not only to his family and the Bowmans team, but to the profession and leadership throughout Africa.

I wanted to say, in particular from the CC Africa team, how saddened we are by this terrible news. You all have been genuine friends and partners in our work on the Continent, and Rob set the tone for that collaboration. His stewardship was always appreciated. In such sad times, one must appreciate and honor what Rob did and what he represented, and carry on his work and vision.
