Tsholofelo has experience in private equity transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Tsholofelo routinely assists clients in matters involving private mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations, private equity and corporate governance related matters.
Her experience includes advising on corporate matters, as well as conducting legal due diligence investigations, drafting, and interpreting corporate and commercial agreements/documents such as sale of shares and assets, sale of business, share subscriptions, restructures, asset for shares, share repurchases, shareholders agreements and memoranda of incorporation as well as providing general legal advice on company law and contractual matters.

- Mahlako Gas Energy on its acquisition of a minority stake in Tetra4, holder of South Africa’s first onshore petroleum production licence.*
- K2016405430 (South Africa) Proprietary Limited, being the sole shareholder in Naked Financial Technology Proprietary Limited in its series B round resulting in an issue of shares to International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft (DEG).*
- Actis on the South African aspects of its disposal, together with Mainstream Renewable Power, of Lekela Power to Infinity Group and Africa Finance Corporation for US$1,5 billion. This transaction was awarded Dealmakers Private Equity Deal of the Year in 2023.*
