Overview

Erin is a senior associate in the Banking and Finance Department of our Cape Town office and a member of the General Finance Practice.

Erin specialises in banking and finance law and has experience in secured and syndicated lending, structured finance, debt restructuring as well as property and mining finance.

Experience

  • Advised a syndicate of local and international financial insutions on the USD400,000,000 refinancing of Harmony Gold Limited’s term and revolving credit facilities.
  • Advised Nedbank Limited on the ZAR1,000,000,000 refinancing of Two Rivers Development Limited’s credit facilities, in connection with the Two Rivers Development Precinct in Namibia.
  • Advised Standard Chartered Bank (Zambia) in connection with standby letter of credit financing issued in favour of Bengweulu Power Company Limited and Ngnoye Power Company Limited, backstopped by payment guarantees from the International Development Association and a reimbursement and credit agreement with the Government of the Republic of Zambia as counterparty, to support a solar photovoltaic power station to be commissioned in the Republic of Zambia.
