Anu Matikola is an associate in our Mauritius office.

She is a corporate lawyer who also advises on banking and finance matters in the firm.

Prior to joining Bowmans, she has worked at an Attorney’s office and thereafter at a reputed law firm in Mauritius, thereby gaining a mix of experience in civil and litigation matters.

Anu has Ba (Hons) Finance, Accounting and Management from the University of Nottingham, Post Graduate Diploma in Law and completed the Bar Professional Training Course from the Nottingham Trent University.

Relevant Experience

• Acted for and advised Mauritian lenders in relation to a debt facility of ZAR 1,670,000,000 and USD 53,500,000 which involved Mauritian and South Africa entities.
• Advised on several corporate matters and licensing requirements for Global Business Companies, Authorised Companies, among others.
• Recently advised on Mauritius laws matters on a Debt Financing Transaction namely the Beitbridge Border Post Modernisation Project.
