In the third episode of the series, Jeremy is joined by Andrew Pike, author and the head of our Posts, Transport and Logistics sector, to discuss one of the great, but often overlooked, events in recent maritime history: the rescue of over 200 passengers and crew from the ill-fated Oceanos in 1991. Andrew recounts the compelling drama and extraordinary heroism of the greatest maritime rescue in South African history described in his book Against All Odds: The Epic Story of the Oceanos Rescue (and also just released in North America as Mayday off the Wild Coast).
