On 1 July 2015 the Bowman Gilfillan Pensions Law Team obtained a high court order in the matter of Sentinel Retirement Fund v Mtambo and Others (Case No 75404/2013). The case dealt with the validity of a maintenance order that required future maintenance to be deducted by a retirement fund from a member’s lump sum benefit.
