KENYA: WAIVER OF LAND RATES PENALTIES AND INTERESTS IN NAIROBI

The Nairobi County Government has offered a 100% waiver of penalties and interest on land rates arrears paid in full between 1st October to 30th November, 2021. This waiver is contained in Gazette Notice No. 9798 published on 17 September 2021 by the County Executive Committee Member for Finance and Economic Planning.

We urge all property owners and banks holding interests in charged property to confirm that all payments of rates on their properties are up to date. If they are not, we advise you to take advantage of this waiver. We are available to offer support on this Notice and the ways it may benefit your properties.
